Faye Lake

Location and Access

Faye Lake is located about a mile and a half from Interlachen, in Putnam County, Florida. The lake is connected and adjacent to Sand Hill Pond and Jewel Lake. There are various public accesses to the connected lakes along with outdoor recreational and water activities to do.

Fishing opportunities

Visitors can use boats to fish on the lake. There are also fishing areas around the lake. The most popular species known to be caught here are bluegill and largemouth bass.

Around Faye Lake

Because Faye Lake is connected to Sand Hill Pond and Jewel Lake, it makes for a diverse area with lots of different activities to choose from.

Visitors can take their boats out for a nice day of fishing or swimming. Other water activities include paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing.

There are also great golf courses in the area. To name a few there is the Keystone Golf and Country Club, Palatka Golf Course, and the Oaks Golf Club.

Hospital, Airport, Education

The Putnam Community Medical Center is located just 21 miles away, and the Gainesville Regional Airport is located 40 minutes away.

Located about an hour and a half south of Faye Lake is the Ocala International Airport and the Daytona Beach International Airport.

The three closest schools are Interlachen Elementary, Price Middle, and Interlachen High School.

City of Jacksonville

Located two hours north is the major city of Jacksonville. As one of the most popular cities in Florida, Jacksonville offers shopping scenes, parks, restaurant and bar scenes, museums and tours, and the beach.

Being the largest city in the “Sunshine State,” there are miles of white sandy beaches, attractions, and new experiences awaiting you!
