Lonetree Reservoir

 Located in Larimer County, Colorado  

 Lonetree Reservoir, also known as Heron Lakes, is a private community located in Berthoud, Colorado, and is full of beautiful scenery and relaxing nature. Just an hour's drive from the capital, Denver, the reservoir has tons to see and explore when you are not relaxing by the water.  

  Lake Life  

 Lonetree Reservoir is a great place for relaxing by the water and enjoying a beautiful day. Community residents must have a lake access membership to use the lake recreationally. Fishing is allowed on Heron Lakes. Common fish include bass, walleye, and yellow perch. Members can boat, kayak, and paddle board on the lake.   

  What To Do  

  While Lonetree Reservoir is surrounded by gorgeous nature, sometimes you just need to get out and spend a night under the stars. Flatiron Campground gives you the opportunity to do just that. Just 20 minutes down the road, a state-of-the-art campground that is surrounded by shimmering water and fun activities. Many describe this place as a “hidden gem” that people from near and far need to see in their lifetime.  

 Food is an important aspect when choosing a new community, and Loveland has plenty to choose from. A.K.A Kitchen is a fan favorite for residents of Heron Lakes, and it is only 10 minutes away. Known for its lively atmosphere, the kitchen serves a variety of cultural food options paired with signature cocktails and live music.

 Lonetree Reservoir is featured on HGTV's Rock the Block as Heron Lakes! Rock the Block has top HGTV designers who have just weeks and a limited budget to design and finish four blank-slate homes on the same block with their signature styles. It was filmed in the Rookery segment of the Heron Lakes Community.

 Banner McKee Medical Center is 20 minutes from Lonetree Reservoir and is open 24 hours a day. North Colorado Regional Airport is 20 minutes away and offers domestic and regional flights.
